I saw a player in a live $200 NL game muck a flush face up with a pair on the board when the hit the river and the first player bet $100 into a $140 pot. The board was 7 high.

Nice laydown. I am not sure I could do that. The first player to bet is a very loose player.

I guess he figured that if he could bet $100 he must be able to beat a flush.

I guess that I need to tighten up my calling standards.
