Going to Bed On Tilt

Postby LottaFagina » Fri Sep 09, 2005 11:37 pm

Working the Multi Reload Madness on NL50 tables. 1,500/4,000 completed so far. Man I feel cold decked tonight. I played about 650 hands. I don't think my PP flopped a set once. Going to bed on tilt and down 3 stacks.

This finally sent me to quit for the night:

Hand #1
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (10 handed)

UTG ($47.25)
Hero ($49.25)
UTG+2 ($47.15)
MP1 ($46.50)
MP2 ($31.70)
MP3 ($66.50)
CO ($137.75)
Button ($80.15)
SB ($121)
BB ($57)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with [Kc], [Ks]. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
1 fold, Hero raises to $2, 2 folds, MP2 calls $2, MP3 calls $2, 2 folds, SB (poster) calls $1.75, 1 fold.

Flop: ($8.50) [Qs], [9h], [6s] (4 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $8, MP2 folds, MP3 calls $8, SB folds.

Turn: ($24.50) [9s] (2 players)
Hero bets $15, MP3 calls $15.
(Yes, I know this is a weak bet which bought him the river cheaply, but after the fact I figure he's got AQ here, or at least the Q, so he'd have called anything most likely.)
River: ($54.50) [Qc] (2 players)
Hero bets $10, MP3 raises to $25, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $89.50

Results in white below:
MP3 doesn't show.
Outcome: MP3 wins $89.50.

The PF raiser had just lost a bad beat on the immediately preceding hand and I figured he was steaming based on his $5 PFR (which he obviously was). 2 outs and he stacks my Kings:

Hand #2
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (8 handed)

BB ($66.90)
UTG ($52.80)
UTG+1 ($48.20)
MP1 ($46.25)
MP2 ($40.65)
CO ($54.65)
Button ($11.20)
Hero ($77.90)

Preflop: Hero is SB with [Kh], [Kc]. Hero posts a blind of $0.25.
UTG raises to $5, 5 folds, Hero (poster) raises to $54.75, 1 fold, UTG calls $47.80 (All-In).

Flop: ($108.30) [3h], [9h], [2c] (2 players, 1 all-in)

Turn: ($108.30) [6d] (2 players, 1 all-in)

River: ($108.30) [3c] (2 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: $108.30

Results in white below:
UTG has 9c 9s (full house, nines full of threes).
Hero has Kh Kc (two pair, kings and threes).
Outcome: UTG wins $105.60. Hero wins $2.70.

Hand #3
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (10 handed)

Button ($10.80)
SB ($44.77)
BB ($160.28)
UTG ($8.56)
UTG+1 ($128.20)
UTG+2 ($43.80)
MP1 ($32.90)
MP2 ($60.15)
Hero ($49.25)
CO ($20)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with [Qc], [Qh]. SB posts a blind of $0.25. CO posts a blind of $0.50.
1 fold, UTG+1 calls $0.50, 3 folds, Hero raises to $2.25, 2 folds, SB (poster) calls $2, 1 fold, UTG+1 folds.

Flop: ($6) [Jd], [5s], [3c] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $4.91, SB calls $4.91.

Turn: ($15.82) [Td] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $15, SB calls $15.

River: ($45.82) [9d] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks.
(I smell a rat and check behind him)

Final Pot: $45.82

Results in white below:
SB has 2d Ad (flush, ace high).
Hero has Qc Qh (one pair, queens).
Outcome: SB wins $45.82.

The one shining star of the night, on a hand I almost didn't call:
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (10 handed)

UTG ($39.25)
UTG+1 ($79.60)
UTG+2 ($68.65)
MP1 ($41)
MP2 ($48.25)
MP3 ($52.45)
CO ($111.60)
Button ($53.50)
SB ($13.80)
Hero ($50.75)

Preflop: Hero is BB with [Ts], [Tc]. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
1 fold, UTG+1 calls $0.50, 3 folds, MP3 raises to $2.25, 3 folds, Hero calls $1.75, UTG+1 calls $1.75.
(That's a large PFR. I almost don't call it, but I'm hoping UTG+1 will call based on his PT numbers and give me some nice options if I happen to hit the flop)

Flop: ($7) [Th], [5s], [Td] (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 bets $5, MP3 calls $5, Hero calls $5.

Turn: ($22) [As] (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 checks, MP3 checks.

River: ($22) [5c] (3 players)
Hero bets $7.5, UTG+1 folds, MP3 calls $7.50.

Final Pot: $37

Results in white below:
Hero has Ts Tc (four of a kind, tens).
MP3 has Js Jc (two pair, jacks and tens).
Outcome: Hero wins $37.

Yeah, in retrospect, it was bad. I should have either checked (and conveyed total weakness and folded to any bet) or bet at least 1/2 to 3/4 pot and folded to a raise which would indicate either his made flush or a Q/9 boat.

Hand 1... I check, and call an immensely small bet...
Hand 2... He basically stuck his hand down your pants and broke it off...
Hand 3... I'm DEFINITELY checking behind the river... In fact, I may even be giving up on that hand after the turn... I mean, he calls 4.5xbb PF, and calls your flop bet... WAAAY too many ways you're beat here...AA,KK,JJ,TT,JT, just bleh... Basically EVERY way, unless you luck out and he's a total jackball playing for the flush, which he actually hit on the river... If he wants to bluff me off that hand, I'm probably more than willing to help...
