Getting aggressive in 6 max

Postby iceman5 » Mon Oct 24, 2005 9:13 am

Im playing much more aggressively with big draws and the nuts just the same which is new for me. Here are 4 hands. $1/$2 NL 6 max

1) 3 limpers and I limp on the button with 66.
5 to the flop. Pot is $10. Flop [Kd][Qc][Jd] Checked around

Pot still $10. Turn [8d]...checked around.
Pot $10. River [6c]. BB bets $2, 1 guy calls. Would you raise here?

2) UTG limps, button min raises. I reraise to $16 in the BB with KQ. Only UTG calls. My only read is that he limped and called $10 with J3s a few hands ago so I have to assume hes a fish. He has $160 and I have him covered.

Pot $37. Flop [Qc][Jd][Td] (I have the [Qd]). I bet $30 and he calls.

Pot $97. Turn is the [5s]. He has $112 left and I push in.

3) Its 4 handed. I raise to $8 with [9d][7d]. BB calls.
Pot $9. Flop comes [Ad][Qd][5d]. He checks and I bet $10 and he calls.

Pot $29. Turn [3s]. He leads $8 and I raise to $32...he calls.

Pot $101. River [Kh]. He checks and I bet $60 (He had $105 left)

4) UTG limps, I limp with [6h][5h]. Next guy raises to $6. SB and UTG call so I call.

Pot $26. Flop comes [8h][2c][4h] I have the str8 and flush draw. I check, Preflop raiser bets $14...folded to me. He has $145 left and I have him covered. I push all in.

Thoughts on any of these?

Hand #4) I want him to fold. After all, all I have is 6 high. I didnt bet the flop because I wanted HIM to bet, someone to call and then I can push all in and trap dead money in there.

Hand #2) I thought he had the [Kd]. I was hoping he had KQ. I dont think he has a flush based on how he played it (not too mention the odds af floppign flush over flush are pretty remote)
