50$ NL AQ full ring

Postby Jossnaz » Thu Jan 18, 2007 7:24 am

1) Is 50$ NL still micro table for you guys? Would you still say the players there are extremly soft? (personally I think it seems weak)

As it is poker4ever (*vomit*) no pokertracker stats... I saw him once do a 1/3 potsize bet on river with the best hand.

Turn action alright?

River?

I got 50 dollars, villain has about 40$ and sits to my right.

I got dealt [As] [Qc]

I'm CO 1 caller, I raise to 2.50
Villain calls

Flop (pot 5.75)
[6h] [Qd] [Ts]

Villain checks
I bet 5
Villain calls

turn (pot 15.75)
[3c]
Villain checks
I check

River (pot 15.75)
[9h]
Villain bets 6 dollars
I call.

i don't like ur check on the turn. TPTK, position and checked to you...i would have bet pot. if called, villain has a Q w/ a weak kicker or on a draw. if villain raises, he has 2 pair or trips. IMO, checking on the turn got u zero information.

as played, i may just call the $6 river bet even though i think ur beat. IMO, ur river play would have been easier to make if you have bet the turn.

Betting the turn is fine, as is playing like you did. It just depends on what you put him on.

He probably has KQ.

I do like the double buyin rule, that is nice. OTOH, if I can make alot more at another site, I'll probably go there. Then again, I've been lazy in playing at Tribeca and now I don't know how to put in money anywhere. :(
