I limp on the button with AK after 2 other limpers. Why? Just to mix things up a bit.
The pot is $10 and the flop comes [4h][2h]. Its checked to MP who bets $10. Hes been trying to push the table around and Ive taken a few decent sized pots from him.

He kept raising to $10 preflop with things like AT so one hand I reraised to $30 with JJ. The flop came KK4 and I made a big bet and he folded. There were a couple other hands like this so Im sure hes thinking Im going after him or something.

Ok, back to the hand. He bets $10 and I raise to $25 with my AK. Its folded back to him and he goes all in for $200 or so. I folded but I really think I was ahead. No ways hes playing a set like that and 2 pair would be pretty hard to believe. He was raising alot but I didnt see him play anything like K4.

I think he had KJ or KQ and was tired of getting raised. Would anyone call that bet without a set? Rerasing $200 into a $45 pot is a bit crazy.

I waited a few mins and asked him what he had. He said 2 pair. I didnt believe him for a second so I said "which 2 pair" He said K6. I knew he was lying.

Did you have the ? If not, he could very well have ATh or something like that. He could also have KQ and underestimate your kicker (which is precisely why you limped in). What else could he have? K4 is very unlikely, so that leaves either 44 or 22, but he would try to make more money from you if he really had that. He perceives you as very aggressive, so would let you do the betting if he had the goods... Expensive to find out though.

This is the guy I really go after in a trn. In the cash game I like to have a better hand then TP TK if I am going to call an all in bet. But, I don't believe for a minute he had KK. Nor can I put him on K4. So we are either tied and he has suited AK of hearts or he has Kx suited hearts. The bad thing is he could have only had A10 hearts and tilting.

If he has 2 hearts I don't think TP TK is big enough favorite to make the call. If the flop had come rainbow I would have called. If he has a set then so be it I make notes and haunt him until I win all my money back plus what ever money he has left. Because if he is going to call big raises with small pairs he is going to be easy money.

I think you should have raised more on the flop. With the pot at $45 it would only be $15 more for him to call. If he has a heart draw (or anyone else) then you are giving them too good odds. Once he comes back over the top you obviously have to fold. I hate putting all my money in with TPTK, even on that type of board. If he thinks he can bully you just wait til you hit a set and make the same exact play. I'm sure you will get paid off.

Did you ever end up taking his stack?

I think if you have a solid read here that you are ahead and he is tired of being bullied that you can make this call, but no one can fault you for not wanting to risk your stack in an unraised pot. I'd have a hard time making it too.

I think the key here is that there are very few hand that you dominate KQ maybe KJ. You are ahead of a flush draw.On the flip side there are a bunch of hands that have you drawing very thin. KK(unlikely) 44, 22 k4,k2, 42. I do think you might have been ahead in the hand by your desciption of him, but save it. He is going to give you another opportunity to win his money. TPTK in an unrasied pot vs a lagre all is a fold even against a overly agressive player. Good lay down, did you get a chance to bust him later?
