*** HOLE CARDS ***

Dealt to AlamedaMike [Ks] [Kd], 2 folds, xSnugglesx calls $2

WOW - I finally got a preimun hand. I want some action so I make a mini-raise. Out of position I should have made my normal raise here of $7.

AlamedaMike raises to $4 3 folds, STRUGGLE calls $2, xSnugglesx calls $2

*** FLOP *** [7s] [Js] [5h]

STRUGGLE checks, xSnugglesx checks, AlamedaMike bets $13 , STRUGGLE raises to $26, 1 folds,

Damn it to hell. I do not want to fold my Kings. But, he checked raised me. Is he testing my hand or does he really have a better hand. Against a semi-bluff I need to re-raise him. Okay, I am going to call and see what happens.

AlamedaMike calls $13

*** TURN *** [4s]

Okay, now make up you mind. Either you have the best hand or you don't. I now have picked up a 2nd nut flush draw.

STRUGGLE bets $26

I am pissed. I have outs. All-in and we will see what happens. I can always reload and start over.

AlamedaMike raises to $82.90, and is all in

STRUGGLE folds

AlamedaMike wins the pot ($114)

I probably would have made a large reraise after his minraise on the flop. If he is on a flush draw I want him to pay. You can't really put him on AA. Maybe JJ, but I think he probably had somthing like A J with no Spades and the flush scared him off. His turn bet was just trying to steal.

Don't get greedy with those preflop minraises or you'll turn the small loss into a huge one.. ;)

I think the only thing that saved you was your semi-weak preflop bet. Had you bet it like a big premium hand, you might have been called.

I think this is super high variance poker. You're pushing on the turn without really knowing what he has, and he's been showing strength. Against a better opponent, you could be crushed.
