Wow, awesome, awesome game.
So loose, one good player and 7 calling stations, you were right Ice.

So here goes
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

$2/$5 NL $500 Max buy in.
All stack sizes are approximate.

Hero (button): $515
SB: $330
BB:$600
All other seats are irrelevant.

I get A[h] Q[h], It's checked to me I bump it to $20 straight

Only the Blinds call.

Flop: 9[h] T[h] 2[s]

Checked to Me, I check behind. I like a bet here but this was five hands in, and I wasn't all that comfy yet.

Turn: A[c]

SB bets $60, I figure him for an Ace, maybe just turned 2 pair.

BB folds. I call

River: 4[h]

Nice, Nuts for me. SB checks, I bet $100, he calls and shows 9Jo.

Wow.
==========================================================

Hero: $620 BB

2 Villians are short stacked >$200

Villian 1 is UTG+1
Villian 2 is the button.

Hero dealt T[c], J[c]

All limp and I check

Flop: J[h] 6[c] 8[c]

I bet $40

UTG+1 calls
Button raises to $100
Both of us call

Turn: 7[d]

Ok here I have what i believe to be tons of outs, a great draw. Pair, gutshot, Flush.
I think Button has a pair in the hole. BUT for some reason, I passively check.

UTG+1 checks
Button bets off the rest of his stack. about a bill, a little less.
I make a pretty simple call here, UTG+1 folds.

He turns over 10's...TENS.

River was an Ace and I won.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I won a big pot with Aces
Lost a big pot with K's to two pair.
Won a big bot with 6,7h when i turned the nuts and took a set's stack.. He underbet the flop terribly, looking for a call I guess.

Lots of folding and nothingness and thru 6hrs. I am at $1200

Then comes the worst beat I have ever taken in my life.
I'm not going to harp or even post the hand, but I will briefly describe it.
I get 3's in the CO. BB: $300 puts in a small raise and I call.
I flop a set, lead into him. and he moves all in the board is NOT draw heavy.

I call. He shows 22, one pair no draw.

Turn: 2
River:2

I was thinking Bad Beat Jackpot, but my hand wasn't big enough.

I muttered some explitves and asked for a rack. walked to the cashier's corner booth cashed out and started back to Dallas.

Thoughts Welcome.

p.s. As WildBill once told me... Bring a lot of $50 bills...

Keep up the good work!

Dallas definitely has more people and more money than Tulsa, so maybe these people will last a bit longer than they have here. There are still a few in our game, but they are becoming more scarce.

Is there a casino hotel down at WinStar?

Also, I have heard even better things about the 5/10 game down there, which, if my understanding is correct, doesn't have a maximum buy-in--although the complete fish are probably (?) not quite as common. There were a couple of dealers from WinStar who came up here to play last week. They were both pretty good players and told us a lot about how the game looked down there.

I forgot to mention a couple of things when I got back to the house last night, I was kind of worn out from driving, playing, and then driving some more...My back was killing me.

These are the two hands I forgot to mention.

Battle of the blinds and I'm in position on the BB with A[s] X[s]
SB has a little over a full stack and I have him covered.

Flop K[h] 2[s] 9[s].

He checks, I check behind.

Turn: Blank.
He bets $15 I call.

River: K[s]

He bets $35 I min raise to $70... If I get played back at I let it go instantaneoulsy.

He thinks and asks me if the [s] helped me for what had to be 3 minutes. (the dealers let anyone have as much time as they wanted. Which was very frustrating.)

I know that raise is questionable on a paired board, but if I hadn't made it I would have lost the hand.

He finally calls so I flip over the Flush and He mucks 22....
He mucked the boat without realizing he was the winner. hehehe.

Hand 2.

I'm out of position on a young guy who won this whole "splash the pot deal" where they give the table an extra hundred in the pot. Well like 6 people are all in before the flop trying to win that free $100. With side pots and all it the final winnings for this kid came to be a ton of money, like 7 buy ins, he had since leaked 2 of them back around the table.

I once again have a suited Ace. A3 i forget what suit.

I check the BB.

Flop 3 7 3.

I check(stupid) he bets I raise the pot, like $100.

turn: 7

I check he bets I fold.

What dp you guys think of that lay down.
He showed J 7
In white^^^

Hand 2--I probably fold it esp since its an unraised pot.

Hand 1-- Explain how that worked in the casino. I've played live but never at a casino.

TR,

I bellieve that once your cards hit the muck they are dead. Now if he were smart he would have just flipped over his 22 instead of throwing it in the much...even if he thought he was beat.
