Confusing HU Opponent

Postby DonkiFornication » Tue Feb 27, 2007 8:52 pm

Hello all. I haven't been around much 'cause I've just been playing cheap rebuys and HU cash since I started Law School a couple of months ago.

I had a tough time with an opponent today. Here was his game:

- TIght play OOP. Played 3-bet/fold. Raised about half the times I limped.
- Minraied EVERY button
- Called well over half of my 3-bets.
- NEVER 4-bet me in position.

I was 3-betting about 25% of the time and cold calling less than 10% and CB'ing 90% through the session. He was CBing only about 4/5 of the time that I cold-called.

I haven't looked over the session in full yet through the replayer and I will later tonight. But how are you approaching this guy with these things in mind?

"#3 pencils and quadrille pads."
- Seymoure Cray (1925-1996) when asked what CAD tools he used to design the Cray I supercomputer; he also recommended using the back side of the pages so that the grid lines were not so dominant.

"Interesting - I use a Mac to help me design the next Cray."
- Seymoure Cray (1925-1996) when he was told that Apple Inc. had recently bought a Cray supercomputer to help them design the next Mac.
