I have no idea what to make of this somewhat out of character, awkwardly sized turn raise on a fairly coordinated board.

Would he play hands like 64s,96s?? He may have a hand like 78, A3,5,7,8, witha FD, I think I may just shove. Unless he plays alot of SCs and 2 gappers but the again he may just a have 2pr.

Reason being is that if the river brings a or a , 4 or a 6 it is either gonna kill ur hand or ur action

19/8 Player I would discount him having 69 64 for the str8 immediately as they're not in his range from that position. most likely holding is a suited connector for 2 pair or cooler for bigger set. outside chance of a6 of either spades or clubs giving flush and str8 draw

Id push too many cards would kill your action on the river

I really doubt he has a monster draw here. Passive full ring players play their draws passively like always.

So unless your image is really bad this is a set or 2 pair almost always. 78 is his most likely holding IMO.

I was thinking the made hand (set, top 2, possibly even straight) more likely than the draw too. Once I put all those hands into pokerstove (55,77,88, 87s, 64s, and if I include 64s I guess I had to put 75s in there too) it turns out that I was actually just over 50% to win. If I had that information last night I would have played it differently, but I actually thought I mighta been a dog to that range.

Ended up just calling because that's what I sometimes do when someone makes a strange bet that confuses me unless I have the nuts or close to it. 55 or 77 I would have re-raise for sure here, 33 was just enough to make me unsure. Don't know if it's a bad habit, but usually when I'm beat, I lose less, if I'm ahead sometimes I lose a little bit that I would have made, but often times I'll catch a bluff or mis-placed value bet on the river which is the same amount they would have called anyway.

Turns out he had [8h] which I didn't even have in his range there at all. So by not re-raising, I gave him a shot to beat me with 4 outs which was the worst thing that I did. Also gave him a shot to catch a 9 or 8 that may have further hung him too though because there was no way he was calling another raise with that hand.
