Another Big Pot...who folds?

Postby Twelver » Tue Oct 11, 2005 2:11 pm

NL $100 on Party. I have $148 and have both opponents covered.

I get dealt [Ad] [As] in UTG +1. UTG calls and I make it $4 to go. 2 calls and original limper calls.

Pot = $17.50
Flop = [Tc] [Kc] [Ah]

All kinds of draws out there.
UTG checks I make it $15. Villan #1 min raises (hmmm),Villan #2 Pushes all-in for about $95. UTG folds and it is back to me. What's your play?

Easiest call for a big pot ever. Your only behind to QJ and even if thats what he has, you'll win 1 out of 3.

He could esaily have AK, AT, KT, KK, TT, a flush draw, a pair and flush draw. Youre a big favorite to all of these hands.

Well of couse I went all-in...was there ever any doubt.

Min raiser folded after I pushed...So it is just me and Villan #2 both all in.

Pot is a little under $300.

Turn is [4h]

River brings [Ac]

So really no worrying after that.

Oh and just as an fyi...villan had [Th] [Td]

It's going to be a 3-way all-in. You will win it about 1 time in 3 even if one of them does have the straight. If neither has the made straight, you are way ahead. Gotta call.

Actually one of the worst case scenarios is if one of them has a set and the other has the str8, this kills 3 potential outs. Not that it really make a huge differenc in the play of the hand but if one player had 1010 and the other had the str8, you are almost 4:1 instead of 2:1.
