Dealt [Qh] in the BB. Bunch of limpers. I raise to $20. One MP caller who I've never played with before.

Nut flush draw and an underpair. I bet $40 (my standard.) Opponent calls.

TURN $140

I bet $100 (opponent has about $100 left after I bet.) He calls.

RIVER $340

I check. Opponent moves all-in... I fold.

He showed me what he had. Results later.

I guess my main question here is the turn play... What do you guys think? I like to be aggressive with my hands obviously... I thought he might lay down a weak ace or something...and I was still drawing to the nut flush and 2 queens...even though the board had paired.

What is your line on the turn and river??

Recently I am getting more and more adverse to betting draws out of position, so I *might* just give it up on the turn. If he just calls that flop he's either drawing or slowplaying... there can't be much inbetween. Since the A, K and Q are accounted for, he shouldn't be drawing so... he's probably slowplaying. Either that or he's a muppet playing something like JT with the .

I think if you're going to bet the turn, you should push, (a) in case he's drawing, (b) if he is ahead and there are 4 spades on the board by the river, he may find a fold

After reviewing the hand...hindsight is perfect after all...

I should have checked the turn. He held 66 for quad sixes and I was drawing dead.

I think once the board paired I should have just went ahead and checked. I dunno...anyone else have any opinons?

Smokin Al.....For some reason I don't like an all-in in that spot. lol I'm not sure exactly why. I'll have to think about it and post again.
