Don't lose your entire stack in an unraised pot or with only one pair.

UTG makes it $1.75 and w/JJ I raise to $6. Its folded to player late MP and he goes all in for $55. Its folded to me. I have $80

What do we think of the EP re-raise here? Is this an attempt just to take it down now, or to steal the lead with an intention to get checked to and fire on the flop or are you value betting?

When would you flat call here?

I raise with JJ sometime and flat call most of the time with JJ. I was trying to get heads up and be last to act.

I normally don't reraise with JJ. I treat it like a small pair - hit it or fold. Against a really LAG player I might reraise but that is very rare for me. Either way I'm not calling that allin.
It's unlucky to be superstitious

“The real things to know is that folks will stand to lose more than they will to win. That’s the most important percentage there is. I mean, if they lose, they’re willin’ to lose everything. If they win, they’re usually satisfied to win enough to pay for dinner and a show. The best gamblers know that.” - Pug Pearson
