"#3 pencils and quadrille pads."
- Seymoure Cray (1925-1996) when asked what CAD tools he used to design the Cray I supercomputer; he also recommended using the back side of the pages so that the grid lines were not so dominant.

"Interesting - I use a Mac to help me design the next Cray."

If your tight solid opponent reads you as tight and solid your line looks very scary. When you open push the river he has to re-evaluate your turn check/call and put you squarely on the [Ac], making your most likely hands AcKx or AcXc. With half his stack in the pot already your opponent knows you can't expect to have much fold equity on your push, so this makes it even more likely he can make a good read and get away from his hand. On the other hand if you check your opponent will value bet some of the hands he would fold to your push, and perhaps fire a third barrel if he has air. A light value bet is better than a push as well, but a check will stack this opponent much of the time and will probably be the most profitable move in the long run.

Not too many 17 VIP guys are calling raises with 87s. I would probably fold the flop.

As played, I think the river shove is your best play.
