Seat 2: WinterMag ( $18.2 )
Seat 4: Cleveland007 ( $279.2 )
Seat 5: junior_k ( $130.35 )

Seat 9: unchess44 ( $18.83 )
Seat 10: Byber ( $161.25 )
Seat 3: in_training7 ( $98.5 )
Cleveland007 posts small blind [$0.5].
junior_k posts big blind [$1].
** Dealing down cards **
Dealt to in_training7 [ Kh Kd ]

gelder44 raises [$4].
AA_Miester calls [$4].
in_training7 raises [$12].
gelder44 calls [$8].
AA_Miester calls [$8].

Gelder44 raising PF UTG probably says mid-high PP or Ahigh card suited. I haven't seen him out of line yet. With a caller already I decide to reraise and isolate. So that doesn't work, guess I should've raised more?

** Dealing Flop ** [ 9s, 8s, 4s ]
gelder44 checks.
AA_Miester checks.
in_training7 is all-In.
gelder44 calls [$86.5].
AA_Miester folds.

The reason behind this is that I have no spade, so I figure this guy might call anything I throw out there if he has a high spade so I go ahead and go all in? Bad or good move?

** Dealing Turn ** [ 8d ]
** Dealing River ** [ 3h ]
gelder44 shows [ Qh, Qs ] two pairs, queens and eights.
in_training7 shows [ Kh, Kd ] two pairs, kings and eights.
in_training7 wins $207.5 from the main pot with two pairs, kings and eights.

I check this flop and usually I would check raise here but Poker_Badger just posted and betting about pot so I wanted to go about this a little careful. He could be betting a flush draw, or any pair. Josh behind me is tight/passive so I am not that worried about him. Too weak?
** Dealing Turn ** [ 5h ]
in_training7 bets [$35].
Poker_Badger is all-In.

After this card comes off I figure he has one less card to hit a flush or two piar up. He only has 34 left and I plan on calling an all in by him so I just push him all in.
** Dealing River ** [ 8h ]

in_training7 shows [ Kh, Jd ] a pair of kings.
Poker_Badger shows [ Ks, 5s ] two pairs, kings and fives.
in_training7 wins $1 from side pot #1 with a pair of kings.
Poker_Badger wins $80 from the main pot with two pairs, kings and fives.

Raise more preflop in hand 1. Other than that I like it.

Hand 2 I strongly disagree with. Bet out and fold to a raise, or check-fold.

hand 1: ii'd prefer a raise to 16 here. utg is likely to call with a range of hands, making the mid guys call even easier for just $8 more. Still, $12 is fine. I'm not sure how much i like the over bet here, though it worked out well this time. iin general i think closer to pot sized is going to be better, as you're usually not going to get callled by hands that you can beat.

hand 2: i don't understand your reasoning for checking this flop. why not lead out with a $5 bet and bet 2/3 or 3/4 pot on the turn?

stl...

hand 1 - probably should've raised more pf to isolate, but you already said that.... as for your allin, I might have been more likely to call it heads up, but w/ 2 people in the pot, one could easily have a couple spades...

hand 2 - You should've bet the flop... by checking, you have no idea what he has and where you stand... Don't like your turn bet... what makes you think your TPGK is strong enough to win this hand...? Sucks that you actually lost to a weaker king, but I think if you would've bet out the flop, there's no way he's still in this hand...

Hand #1 is ok, but I dont like the overbet all in that much without the [Ks].

Hand #2 is horrific. I can see check/calling the flop but theres no reason to push all in at the turn like that. If you want to get all in, then check raise all in. If you push all in, he folds everything that you couldve gotten some money out of if you had let him bet (like KT or K9 for example)

Yeah the first hand I can see betting about half the pot. I would feel a lot better making a play like that with the K spades. And after it happened I thought that I should've raised to about 15 PF, I just didn't want to lose any customers.

As for hand 2, I was going to check raise the flop which is the reasoning for checking it. But I forgot to check raise. I see now how it is a horrible play. Anyone like the check raise and if so, how much given this guy just posted and started with $40.

What if it were bigger stacks I was up against? Like someone who just bought in?

I do not like a checkraise in hand 2. What hand that's behind will call a checkraise? What hand that is ahead will fold to a checkraise? Answer to both is probably none.
