Absolute Craziness! Pt. 1

Postby Atorvastatin » Tue Jun 28, 2005 7:14 pm

You guys tore me apart, and rightly so, on my last post, "Was this play fishy?" Here is the first of two nasty hands on Absolute I played earlier. Please critique! Sympathy is also welcome. I'm on a heck of a bad run...

Hand converter isn't supported for Absolute but I think it's easy enough to read.

1) The HH doesn't make sense. BB posts $1, and then a guy raises $1 to make it $3? And then it gets raised $2 to make $15? ....

2) Are you really asking if getting all your money in heads up with AA preflop is a good play or not?

Getting all your money in pf with AA vs anything is a good play. AA vs KK has you at over a 4 to 1 favorite. Yes, you are going to win 4 out of 5 times. Too bad this was the 1 time it didn't work. Do it again.

Ya, that HH doesn't make sense. The final pot was $192, all built preflop. No, I'm not actually asking if getting all my chips in preflop was the right move, just saying it sucked getting so many of them in and losing!

if this guy watched Bill Fillmaff's Secret System he would know it is -EV to call an allin preflop with only the 2nd best hand. Learn from a world-wide poker champion .
