Dropped $200 last night in a horror midnight session (every time I break the 'don't play when tired rule' I say it'll be my last).

Bought in for half-stack ($50) at Crypto (so no reads).

First hand (BB) got AA.

Limped to me. Raised up to $4. One caller. Flop mono diamonds (I don't have one). Bet pot. Got called. Turn a 4th diamond. Call me weak-tight but I just checked and folded to an all-in push..maybe he's bluffing but any diamond and I just look stupid.

Next hand I get 44. Same guy as hand 1 min raises. About 4 players complete. Flop Q84 - 2 hearts.
I check waiting for leader to bet out. He makes weak bet (1/3 pot). I raise up to the full pot - he calls. Turn blank. I bet out again - 1/2 pot I think- he calls again. River is 3rd heart. I'm pot committed anyway so push. He calls - [9h] [6h] - oh great.

I re-buy for $100. Now I'm steaming and tired and should just have cut my losses there and then.

About 20 hands later (during which time our guy has revealed himself to be an out and out maniac - Vp$ip 60%+ PFR 20%+ and I have dropped another $20) I get JJ again in the BB. He limps. I raise to $5. He calls, isolated. Flop 994 2 spades. I bet pot. He calls. ($30 pot) Turn a 7 (non spade). I fire again - $15 and he calls ($60 pot). Third nine falls on the river and I have a full house. No way is this guy limping pre-flop with AA, KK or QQ so I have the best hand unless he has case 9. I push. He calls - 93 offsuit.

I stiil don't learn my lesson and steam away my $50 on the other table before quitting for the night -$200.

Bah - muppet play ---
