I have been losing lots at poker so for the last month I have turned to something that makes no money and rots my eyes just as good. The Xbox 360 and Gears of War (Maybe the best replayability ever)


Here is a hand that I thought I played well post flop. Okay act like I just mysteriously made it to the flop without my horrible preflop call.

I think you played this ok. The turn bet is sorta dumb but it's not the worst. I think after betting the turn though, you should bet/fold the river instead of check/call.

PF, calling a raise OOP with a A6s is not good but ok so you called hoping for a monster flop. instead you flopped TPWK w/ a FD on the board, not to mention the J. calling the flop bet got you zero info, IMO, you should have raised it the $15 you threw in on the turn (here it would have been a better investment that would have saved you the river call amt of $35). as played, i would have folded on the turn. rivering 2 pair, with that board, was something you didn't want to see b/c it's almost like you "have to call now". basically, IMO, you trapped yourself by playing a self trap hand OOP.
