3/6nl FR - EP has 651. MP has 350. i cover both.

i'm dealt [5s] in LP. I've been toying a lot with calling raises from different types of players with SC's. EP is a loose player, and MP has gone from very TAG to very LAG after i stacked him a few orbits earlier.

EP opens to 18. MP calls, i call. 3 to the flop.

$63 flop. 3-ways. comes [9s][6s]. EP fires out $42. I had planned to raise, but now MP calls. I think this kills a lot of my FE, so i call. is this a mistake against this type of player?

$190 pot. 3-ways still. Turns the . EP fires out $90. again, MP calls. This now kills my gut shot, but i still have a flush draw. there's $369 in there and it's $90 for me to call. I'm not getting fantastic odds, but i have to assume at least one of them will call a small river bet if i hit.

am i playing this poorly up to this point? aside from the few of you who want me to fold preflop, hows my line?

I like the call preflop. I think you're getting plenty of odds to call on the flop, and I think a raise would be very dangerous, but then I tend to be a wuss sometimes. I hate the turn card. I fold the turn, unless I think that the guy in MP would raise (either the flop or the turn) a decent percentage of the time if he had the FD as well. The reverse implied odds if MP has the higher FD are just too gross to contemplate.

I like the preflop play, I 75s is a great stacking hand. I dont agree that the call in the middle kills your FE. It means that you are going to have to raise more to get it but sometimes a call in the middle actually means more FE. The player that leads out see's you raise 2 players and it looks like an even bigger hand. The player in the middle either has a slowplayed monster, less likely on this flop or a draw, if its a draw he is likely going to fold to a large check raise, if its a monster you still have a good amount of outs. The MP caller really looks like a flush draw, I think I am going to fold this turn even though you are getting borerline odds to call, other than another 7 there really isnt a river card that makes you happy to get all your money in.

I agree with Rhound.

In particular that you can still have a lot of folding equity on the flop after the caller.
And also that I would be very concerned about a bigger flush draw and would ditch this hand on the turn.

hmm. the reason i was thinking i didn't have the same FE was that this guy was on tilt, playing loosely, and trying to recover (he was the same villain from the flush hand in my other post). He was stacked just a few minutes ago and was playing like he wanted to catch up as fast as possible.

To me, that just seemed to say "i'm willing to gamble more so here".

I guess i wasn't too concerned about the higher flush draw, though I have to give credit to you guys in seeing the higher flush draw (which i missed).

The river was an 8, putting a straight on board. EP bet out $140, and MP pushed in for like 50ish more. I folded. UTG called with [Js], and MP showed QJo.

: / after seeing their hands I felt like a definate donkey. I was close to flat pushing the flop, but opted out of it because of MP here. Definatly a poor play by me though.
