$50NL AA should I have pushed?

Postby Thxlbx » Wed Sep 13, 2006 1:07 pm

Should I have pushed here to try to push him off of his hand. I bet around the size of the pot, which put him all-in..would a bigger bet gotten him to fold?

He's a half stack you played it fine. Can't win them all, he wasn't folding at any point.

If he's drawing, you don't necessarily want to push him off his hand - you just want to give him incorrect odds to chase his draw, and your bets on the flop and turn did exactly that.

I'd play it pretty much the same way.

Poker is silly.

It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.

Somewhere in the world someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win.
