.10/.20NL JJ tricky opponent

Postby oatmealforxmas » Sat Jan 20, 2007 8:52 pm

so, i have maybe 15 hands on opponent, he just sat down. i have seen him bet/raise on the turn and river a couple times without showing down.

is there any other way to play this? do you call the river? do you check the river? do you bet more on the river, or do you bet the turn?

To me it usually depends on timing of the flop call, if they call quickly its more likely to be a flush draw because they don't even have to think about it, all they see is "I have a flush draw, obviously I'm calling". So if the Opponent calls quickly on the flop then I probly check the turn a lot of the time like you did and hope they check behind so I can see a free shot at the FH on the river. But once you get there after the check/check turn flush card and you're OOP, I probly check and call most bets on the river. If the opponent didn't instacall the flop, I'm definately going to bet the turn again and see how things go from there.
