Not much of a read but Boone seemed to be somewhat of a calling station and played fairly passively. Is it worth trying to make a value bet here or is it just a spot to open myself up to getting pot committed to a river push?

There's $56 in the pot and he has $40 left in his stack. I would shove. Someone playing as short as he is almost never plays a flush this way and he may call you with a huge range of hands.

I would shove here without a read, the fact that he's somewhat of a calling station makes me a lot more happier about pushing it in and getting called by worse, say, KQ or KJ or something.
Poker is silly.

It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.

Somewhere in the world someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win.

After rereading the hand when posting, I think I shoulda bet more on the turn. Yes? Something more like 18-22?

He called quickly on the flop which made me a little leery, but he ended up thinking a while to call my turn bet. That made me feel a bit better about my hand.

Yeah, your turn bet was on the smaller side - I like a bet around $22 on this super draw heavy board.

Be glad your opponents refuse to fold; if they didn't, you just might go broke.
