First let me say that this was my VERY first attempt at playing anything higher than $1/$2. I tend to look at 1/2 GBP as pretty much $2/$4 even though I know it's not quite that high. But anyway, I was playing a crypto site trying for their pocket aces bonus, and had to play 1/2 GBP at a minimum in order to do it. (which by the way I never did hit in over 2 hours. Seems folks like Piers are much luckier than me and can hit it 3 times in 5 hours!) Needless to say I went into it fairly nervous with it being a new limit for me and I'm still not totally comfortable in the last one! I just decided that I would play twice as tight as I usually do preflop and hope that everything worked out the way I needed it to.

So, besides maybe not raising 99 from UTG preflop, (I'm not sure if that was terribly wrong or not) did I make any glaring mistakes? Do you see anyway for me to have gotten even more out of these 2 folks? I got particularly giddy when they both called my check raise on the turn.

Piers what do you think about his flop call? In shorthanded I'd prolly just take it to 3 bets there but in full ring do you usually call, raise, or fold that flop when it's 2 to you?
