They started raking the $.01/$.02 no-limit games!

All no-limit and pot-limit ring games are now raked the same: $.05 for every $1.00, to a max of $3.00 at any full table.

I think this is a big increase in rake at all levels. If I'm remembering correctly, they used to have a much lower max rake at the lower tables. The $25 tables had a max rake of $1.00, I'm sure of that. And at the higher tables, you used to be able to get much higher than $1.00 in the pot before they took any rake at all.

Wow. Unpleasantness. Can you imagine a $3.00 rake in one hand at the $10 tables? Good grief.

Gonna have to seriously think about other sites. If UB has about the toughest competition and one of the nastier rake policies, why play there?
