How did I do?

Hero bets, BB raises, Hero 3-bets, BB caps, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 15 BB

Results in white below:
BB has Qc 3c (full house, queens full of threes).
Hero has As Js (flush, ace high).
Outcome: BB wins 15 BB.

Maybe I should slow down on the river but I thought there was a good chance I was against someone who thought there trip Q's were good. Also by the turn the pot was getting big enough to make me want to see the river.

Tough hand--with the board pairing, you almost have to slow down when he sees the flush and still raises you. Either way it's tough to see you lose that hand with that many outs, and especially to the gay waiter--a queen with a trey...

I think you just bet the river and call the raise. The way you played it he knows very well you are likely to have the flush and yet he raises you anyway. If he has just three queens he wouldn't open himself up to getting three bet here.

Yeah, I think that once he raises your river bet, you have to just call. Okay, he might just be pushing trip queens, but (1) a lot of players with trips will just call fearing the flush, and (2) if you 3-bet, it's VERY unlikely that anything less than a boat will cap it, so you gain 1 bet against trips but lose 2 to a boat.

For what it's worth, I don't think you were wrong to call on the turn despite the paired board. Sure, you may be drawing dead (and were in this case), but most of the time you'll easily have enough live outs to make that call.
