KK with an ace on the flop is always a bit tricky. I'll almost always fire one bet on the flop; if I'm raised, I'm completely willing to give up. Don't talk yourself into a "well, he might have a flush draw" line of though, because usually, you're up against an ace and drawing to 2 outs.
If I'm called, I won't necessarily give up on the hand, but if I'm called in 2 or more places, I will. If I'm called heads-up, I'll look at the board; is there a reasonable draw or second-pair hand my opponent could be calling with? If so, I'll probably keep betting. If not, I may just give up on the hand.
Examples : I raise KK, get one reasonably solid caller, and the flop comes A-8-3 rainbow. I bet, and he calls; with such an uncoordinated board, I'm willing to accept that he probably has an ace, so I'll give up on the hand. But if the board is A-Q-9, and my opponent calls, it's entirely possible I'm up against a lower pair or a draw...so I'll keep firing. But as I said, if you get more than one caller, you're probably best off just letting it go on the turn.
