Weird thing happened on one table. Someone managed to sit at a lower seat on Cake poker. After the update about a month ago the seats go around the top, but for some reason he could sit on the bottom left.

I must be doing something wrong here. I just lose everytime i sit down at the poker table.

Start my session up and proceed to get KK and AA cracked by random shit on the turn to shorties.

Grind back up to about 40 bucks over and then the fucking shit hits the fan. I am currently at one table with 230 dollars (50 nl table) and I am down 150 bucks!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF IS GOING ON.

Maybe I am playing hands wrong but this is ridiculous. I don't think I am going to play again until Jan.

Pok I agree somewhat with what you are saying with the playing too many tables. My problem is that I am bored with 4 tables especially at this low of limit. I thought I played worse with less tables but maybe I am wrong.

Just finished a good book called the Professor the banker and the suicide king - Inside the Richest Game of All Time. It is about the banker Andy Beal playing a bunch of poker players for ungodly sums of money. It was a quick read and you guys would probably like it.

I got the poker itch right now and have to hold back to not play. I think the time off will def. help. Thanks again for the constructive critism.

The more I have been thinking about my play the more I have come to the realization that I am really not very good and I have much to learn.

Decided to play today and sat down at a 1-1 100NL table. Made 110 bucks in about an hour playing just one table. The people that sat with me were terrible. Don't know if that is the norm. Nice to get an upswing on the graph before the new year starts.

New Years resolutions to come later.

Goals for 2008.

1. 60,000 dollars. I have never played seriously for longer than about 2 months. Most years I might make 5-10K but I just stop playing. This usually happens when golf season comes around. I still have goofy dreams of playing professionally. This year I am putting golf on the back burner and poker up front.

2. Play less hands per month but play them better. I think I get burned out when I play 80K hands in a month, not playing my best. I am thinking maybe 250K hands total for the year.

3. Play regularly in tournaments and win at least 1. I would like to have more final tables than my brother - but that might be impossible.

4. Gain 10 pounds of muscle, work out at least 3x a week.

5. Shoot a 66 in a competitive round on the golf course. This might be hard as I am not going to be practicing as much but meh maybe I can Bruce Leitgze it.

6. Play in a USGA qualifier again. I wish it could be the U.S. Open but my handicap is not going to fall quickly enough to play. It is something absurd right now - 4.5 or something.

7. Run a half-marathon

8. Take swimming lessons.

9. Keep taking a full class load for school. Done this for 2 semesters now. I seem to be on the van wilder plan for graduation.
