BK,

Im surprised to see that you think it takes 6months of preparation for the GRE. I will cal my friends today to verify but i think they just bought a couple books and went for it and did quite well. One of them entered University of MIami and the other went to NOrthwestern University, engineering grad schools. The latter is among the top 10 in the US i think.

If you want 97% scores, you have to work your butt off...all I'm sayin.

edit: My colleagues that thought it would be easy scored in the 60s and didn't get in anywhere.

Also, it IS just an exercise in test-taking, but too bad, that's no excuse for not trying hard.
