Ice goes wireless

Postby iceman5 » Wed Mar 09, 2005 12:08 pm

Ive just entered the 21st century. I now have wireless internet access from my laptop anywhere that a cell phone works.

So I plug the wifi card in and surf around a bit to see how it works. Its only dialup speed unless Im in a hot spot then its broadband. So I fire up pokerstars to see how playing poker with dilaup will be.

I fire up 2 $50 tables since I only have a few mins. Im not trying to win money, I just want to see if eveything woks OK.

I post in MP and get AA the 1st hand. UTG raises to $2 and I push all in for $50. I must look like a real friggin maniac going all in on the 1st hand. He calls with TT and I double up.

Very next hand I get 22 and limp. Next guy raises to $2, there a LP caller and I call. BAM! I flop a set. The flop is Q72. Preflop raiser bets , caller raises, I call.

Make a long story short I bust the guy and my $100 wifi card is paid for in 2 hands.

God Bless America!

Ice, if you have any info on the note book and wireless cell phone connection online. Will you e-mail it to me. I want to go this route but I am clueless on how it all works.

Thanks,

This is why I wont get a laptop, I'd spend all my time in school playing poker and not paying attention to lecture. Plus it might appear odd when in the middle of class and curse and throw my pencil across the classroom. I think there are some things I'm better off just doing at home.

I'd certainly add masturbation, playing air guitar, and listening to Barry Manilow to that list, Rhound.

LOL
That was funny Monk. But how do you know about masturbation with you being a monk and all. Have a nice day :D
If you don't fold the best hand every once in awhile, you're probably not playing your best poker
