Where to play NL

Postby Girevik » Tue Aug 15, 2006 1:53 pm

I've played primarily limit for my ring games. I've dabbled a bit with NL, but am now thinking of giving it a serious run. What are the better (i.e. softer) sites for NL out there. I'd start out at very small stakes - probably NL $25.

Most NL25 games I've seen are really soft, I would look more for the best bonus deals at that level and also recommend playing short handed over full ring, just because as you move up the short games are alot better.

It seems like this question gets asked alot and I agree it's a good one. Where you play is an important decision. Maybe a sticky thread could be created where everyone's opinions on the various sites/bonuses are compiled and a comprehensive FAQ of sorts could be made. Would be helpful for a lot of people and maybe cut down on regurgitating the same info over and over. Just a thought.

As for 25$NL I've only played stars and party and both of them were equally beatable for a decent rate. It's just a matter of adjusting to the specific type of players. An example would be all of the crazies at party while stars has quite a few more solid low limit players to watch out for. However, that isn't to say each isn't an equally profitable game.
