Pacific poker

Postby Yenool » Fri Jun 09, 2006 8:16 am

Is it just me or has Pacific turned into a much more rocky poker site since they introduced multi-table playing?

The last week or so I haven't been able to find a table with a VIP % over 25-27% and half the players are getting rated as rocks in my poker tracker database. It used to be very easy to find a table where 40%+ of players were putting $ in the pot / seeing flops..

Now, I am only playing nl25 but min win rate has dropped a lot over the last little while, have the set mining, nut pushing bonus whores moved into pacific or what?

yah, the numbers in the lobby are never correct and never were.

So, I think pacific is getting harder to beat, I feel as though more rocks & sharks have moved in now you can multi-table, I think the single table thing put them off..... Also people are less keen to give action if you can play two tables and not have to wait long for a big hand to get involved with.

I think I may switch to party.

Yeah I know, MVP, but if you've got a 9-5 job in the UK that's not really an option.

Last night I managed to find a couple of Pacific tables with avg VPIP > 25, while all 10 Party tables I was datamining ranged from 15 to 24. Horrible.

Ladbokes was my main site for a couple of years, but it's become dead there recently as players have wised up to bonuses.

I'm hoping the fish will return to Party once the WC's over.
